L'Oréal

The brief

While working for RAPP (July 2016 - present) I was tasked with building responsive emails for L'Oréal and their brands, which include L'Oréal Paris, YSL, Lancome, NYX, Kiehl's, Kérastase, Redken, Garnier, Urban Decay, Giorgio Armani, Vichy, Decléor and many more.

Working as part of a team, we produced low fidelity wireframes for each brand showing a wide range of different content blocks that could be used for different campaigns. We then worked with the design team to ensure their designs worked within the restrictions of content blocks.

We decided to build templates as it would be a more efficient way of producing a large number of emails for each brand within a short time period.

We developed each template using HTML and CSS code and to the latest standards. Each template was fully responsive and worked in mobile, iPad and desktop. The templates were then tested in Litmus in a wide range of email clients and devices. If any bugs were present in the Litmus test, we would then fix them and retest. The goal was to ensure the email templates worked in as many email clients and devices as possible.
